Through equal marriage, votes at 16, free bus travel for under 22s and the incorporation of the United Nations Convention of the Rights of the Child into Scots Law, MSYPs will explain the human rights campaigning that made these significant policy changes a reality. They will also share their hopes for the next 25 years of Scottish democracy and what today’s young people tell them needs to change to protect, respect, and fulfil their human rights.
This event is taking place in-person the Sir Charles Wilson Building at the University of Glasgow or you can sign up to view the talk online.
