SGDB gains Gold LEAF award

Sir Graeme Davies Building awarded Gold LEAF status.
We are delighted to announce that the Sir Graeme Davies Building has been awarded a Gold certification by The Laboratory Efficiency Assessment Framework (LEAF). LEAF was set up by University College London to help laboratories improve their sustainability and efficiency by providing a framework with which to do so. Gold is the highest level available using the framework and we are delighted to have attained it, being the second building on campus to do so. Rory Porteous, the University's Sustainable Lab Advisor who assessed the sustainable actions taken and awarded the Gold level commented:
"This is an excellent application for a Gold award. It's clear that a lot of work has been done across the entire building to meet the standard expected, and it's also clear that there's been a great buy-in from staff to make it happen. Very well done!"
