Elections for the Students’ Representative Council take place twice a year, once in the Spring and then again in Autumn.

All fully registered University of Glasgow students are eligible to run for Council (for academic positions candidates must belong to the School or College they are running for). The Autumn elections are when we elect First Year, General Representatives, and Postgraduate positions as well as aim to fill seats that were not filled already in the Spring election.
There are 28 positions up for grabs in the SRC Autumn 2024 election.
Voting for the @glasgowunisrc Autumn Elections is on Thursday 17th October from 9am to 5pm.
