Iain is joining SCMH as a Clinical Research Fellow.
We would like to welcome Dr Iain Frater to SCMH!
"Hi, I'm Iain and am glad to have recently joined the team. I have taken a post as a Clinical Research Fellow in Pharmacogenomics, working with Professor Sandosh Padmanabhan and team to do my PhD. Alongside this, I continue to work clinically at the QEUH as a Specialty Registrar in Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics and Internal Medicine - including still doing the odd night shift! My research interests are primarily in pharmacogenomics and hypertension, both of which mean I have interactions with a broad range of disciplines. I am an Honorary Clinical Lecturer in Medicine, teaching undergraduate students across the clinical disciplines, as well as on some masters courses with a clinical pharmacology theme. I look forward to seeing you around at the QEUH or GCRC over the next few years."
