Professor Patrick Mark was recently involved in a study demonstrating that dialysis patients have suboptimal responses to COVID-19 vaccination. They appear to be particularly vulnerable to the Delta variant, making the recent introduction of booster vaccines for the ‘clinically extremely vulnerable’ an extremely welcome development.
