The Renal team are delighted to launch the UK arm of the ACHIEVE trial testing
The Renal team are delighted to launch the UK arm of the ACHIEVE trial testing whether spironolactone improves cardiovascular outcomes in patients in dialysis. The study is funded by a British Heart Foundation Clinical Study Grant and is run in collaboration with McMaster University, Canada and The George Institute, Sydney. Paddy Mark is the UK lead for this trial taking place at 25 sites across the UK and was supported by John McMurray with the successful grant application’
