Daniel won a very prestigious 1st Prize for Postgraduate Research Award held by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).
Congratulations to the PHD student Daniel Hoare for winning the Institution of Engineering and Technology Postgraduate Scholarship for an Outstanding Researcher for his work on self-reporting cardiovascular devices.
This is a personal award of £10K for Daniel to spend on international travel and developing collaborations to extend this impact of his research for the school. He will be looking to help use this to springboard his fellowship applications later this year.
