BHF Centre of Research Excellence (CoRE) – Cardiovascular Consequences of COVID-19 Infection Pump Priming Research Awards
We are delighted to announce the winners are:
- Francisco Rios - Effects of Type I and Type III IFN on ACE2 and the immune response in vascular cells: implications in SARS-CoV-2 infection
- Lindsay McCallum - Platform for causal inference in COVID-19 and cardiovascular drugs using machine learning counterfactual analysis
- Ryszard Nosalski - Accelerated immunosenescence and hyperactivation of immune cells with its impact on the cardiovascular system in patients with COVID-19 infection.
- Andrew Morrow - Defining normal and establishing effective (COVID-19 negative) controls for cardiac magnetic resonance imaging in the COVID-19 era.
