957   With valour and with curtesye.
958   The fourthe was cleped compaigny
959   That hevy forto shoten ys;
960   But who so shetith right, ywys,
961   May therwith doon grete harme and wo.
962   The fifte of these, and laste Also,
963   ffair semblaunt men that arowe calle,
964   The leest grevous of hem Alle;
965   Yit can it make a ful grete wounde,
966   But he may hope his soris sounde,
967   That hurt is with that arowe, ywys;
968   His wo the bette bistowed is.
969   ffor he may sonner have gladnesse,
970   Hir langour ought be the lesse.
971   Five arowis were of other gise,
972   That ben ful foule to devyse;
973   ffor shaft and ende, soth forto telle,
974   Were also blak as fende in helle.
975   The first of hem is called pride;
976   That other arowe next hym biside,
977   It was cleped vylanye;
978   That arowe was as with felonye
979   Envenymed, and with spitous blame.
980   The thridde of hem was clepe shame.
