We are happy to welcome Seemanti Ghosh who will be working on the GoWell project in Urban Studies. Seemanti is an Economist with special interest in development economics, experimental methods and treatment analysis. His PhD is on assessing the impact of behavioural interventions on non-cognitive skills of vulnerable children from urban poor localities in India. It is a Randomized Controlled Trial that was carried out in Bangalore (India). He has also been a tutor with the Adam Smith Business School for four years teaching Core Level 1 and 2 Economics and Behavioural Economics courses. 

Seemanti is a graduate in Economics(Honours) from the University of Calcutta (India) and prior to starting his PhD, was working as a Risk specialist in the Investment Banking industry for five years. During his corporate career he worked with several charitable organisations and his keen interest in developmental issues of the marginalised continue to reflect in his research interest.
