Viva success

Scott Richardson successfully defended his thesis on Tuesday 16th January. Scott's research was on 'Bioconvection and swimming micro-organisms’. He was supervised by Andrew Baggaley (now at Newcastle) and Nicholas A Hill.

Qingying Shu successfully defended her thesis on Wednesday 17th January. Qingying 's research was on design and statistical modelling of space weather. She was supervised by Marian Scott OBE.
