Viva success

Kelly Gallacher successfully defended her PhD thesis on January 13th. Kelly's research was on spatio-temporal modelling of water quality. She was supervised by Claire Miller and Marian Scott OBE.

University Challenge - update

After successfully defeating St Peter's College, Oxford, the team from Glasgow made it through to the next round. The team were, unfortunately, unable to progress to the next round. However, they put in an excellent performance at each stage and represented the University admirably.
