There was a small celebration at Clarice Pears Building to say goodbye and wish Sally well on her retirement.
Sally was a Deputy Director, Institute of Health and Wellbeing / Interdisciplinary Research Professor.
Sally said I so enjoyed the celebrations, it was wonderful to get to reflect on a long career with people I have worked with and cared for. There were a good few folk from SPS too, which was lovely.
I was also blown away with the generosity of the gifts, all I had asked for was two UofG mugs! I am now drinking tea from one of them.
Please extend my thanks to all in SPS and SHW who have been so generous.
I am still working for a couple of weeks – so won’t change my out of office yet!
Huge thanks once again. I am VERY grateful.
