Projects led by IHW colleagues were among the winners of the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences (MVLS) Engagement with Research Awards 2021
These awards are supported by the Wellcome Institutional Strategic Support Fund and recognise and reward the inspiring people and projects that share our MVLS research with those outside the University.
The judging panel was greatly impressed by the quality of this year’s nominations, and those that responded positively to engaging communities during the COVID pandemic.

All projects were ambitious and creative. They widened the reach of the college's research, created new partnerships, and extended the engagement experience of research staff.
Winners receive a certificate and prize money either as a gift voucher or a larger sum towards a future public engagement activity.
