Join us at 3pm on Friday 14th March to celebrate World Sleep Day 2025.

In line with this year's theme of Making Sleep Health a Priority, PhD student Catriona Ewart will be running an arts-based workshop to explore sleep through the creative medium of zines. We will use collage, illustration, and storytelling to learn about the science of sleep, reflect on their sleep habits, and take time to prioritize their sleep health. Through hands-on zine-making, this workshop aims to foster conversations about our sleep health, what shapes our sleep habits, and strategies to prioritize rest in a busy world. Everyone will create their own sleepy zine, a self-published pocket-sized magazine to take home. Copies of your zines will be displayed in the Hub and used for future engagement activities to help us promote sleep health awareness.

This workshop is open to all, and no prior experience is needed - just curiosity to learn about sleep in a creative way!
