This working group is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for Professional Services Staff (PSS) through targeted initiatives and collaborative efforts.

The group's primary focus is to address key issues, including the gender pay gap, flexible working, and career development opportunities.

The group is committed to presenting recommendations to the Self-Assessment Team (SAT) that align with the group's vision for positive change:

Gender Pay Gap Initiatives with an emphasis on defining and addressing the issue effectively. This initiative aims to create transparency and ensure equitable practices within the organisation.

Career Development Focus To enhance career progression for PSS, the group is sharing resources like the PS career development quiz and discussing promotional pathways with relevant stakeholders.

By collaborating with the newly formed MVLS Athena Swan Group, they aim to develop new questions for the upcoming SHW culture survey, focusing on career progression and regrading linked to business needs.

As the group evolves, there is an open invitation for new members to join and contribute their insights.
