In 2023-24, we worked with award-winning social enterprise Pride Outside to bring two training events to SHW and further afield to MVLS. The first was a Learning Lunch, and the second was a series of two workshops on LGBTQ+ Inclusion and Gender Diversity. Following on from these workshops, we are working on an action plan for the School in order to help ensure that SHW is a safe place to work for all, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation.

The year sees a change to the group's leadership. Avril Johnstone has stepped down as co-chair and we would like to thank her from the bottom of our hearts for her invaluable work over the years. We are what we are because of you. Liv Hamilton, a Research Associate with SPSHU, takes the reigns as co-chair along with Caroline Haig from October 2024.
