Future Creatives
Future Creatives takes place on Thursday 6 November 2025 at Queen Margaret Union.
The event showcases a dazzling, thought-provoking mix of creativity produced by students from the School of Culture & Creative Arts’ innovative programmes and courses, including film screenings, live music performances, theatre shows, new writing, sonic art, curatorial interpretations, innovative audiovisual projects and poster displays. There's also a Key Note Address from Katie Duffy, Head of Art & Music at Glasgow Life and an opportunity for students, colleagues and external partners to meet and mingle over refreshment and a DJ set by Subcity Radio.

The Bonds That Shape Us
The School of Culture & Creative Arts and Theatre Studies were delighted to showcase new playwriting work at the James Arnott Theatre, Gilmorehill Halls on 26 June 2025.
Featuring professional actors and directed by Director and Dramaturg, Philip Howard, the event featured new work by five emerging playwrights from the University of Glasgow's MLitt Playwriting & Dramaturgy programme:
- Sophie Pass - Debridement
- Chris Kane - The Bedroom
- Kilda Kennedy - The Bigger Picture
- Katy-Valentine Willcocks - Christmas Dinner
- Matthew Taylor – Eggshells
