The result was granted in February
In February, the School of Cardiovascular and Metabolic Health (SCMH) was honoured with the Renewal of the Silver Athena Swan Award. This prestigious recognition is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our SAT Committee, particularly Dr. Lorraine Work and Dr. Scott Mackenzie, who played pivotal roles in the application process.
Professor Christian Delles highlighted that this renewed silver award will significantly enhance our future grant applications and bolster our research, teaching, and IEE-related activities. Moreover, it lays a strong foundation for our aspiration to achieve a gold award in the next five years.
This is a fantastic outcome for SCMH, and we look forward to the continued success and advancements this award will bring.
