EDI Celebration Ceilidh

Ceilidh Dancing

On Friday 1st November the EDI Celebration Ceilidh was held at the Glasgow University Union. The event started at 7pm with PhD student Kyle Shead piping before the buffet open. The buffet was a great selection of Beef Lasagne, South Indian Curry or Green Thai Vegetable Curry. The dancing started at 8.30pm and the dancefloor was full very quickly. The music was provided the band The Midgierakers. The first dance was the gay gordons and a good time was had by everyone.

The next event is the highly anticipated Christmas Quiz which will be held on the 13th December.
