Summary

A new review article "Charting the importance of filamin A posttranslational modifications" by BHF funded PhD student Kyle Shead, Veneta Salyahetdinova (undergraduate student)  and Prof George Baillie of SCMH has recently been published in the Biochemical Journal (https://doi.org/10.1042/BCJ20240121). The article covers a broad spectrum of posttranslational modifications of the ubiquitous filamin A protein, with important implications in many diseases ranging cardiovascular disease, cancer and neurodegenerative disorders.
