The Adam Smith Business School is delighted to be hosting a partnership event on Wednesday 11 September with the National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIESR), the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce & Glasgow Talks.

The joint event will welcome some of NIESR’s researchers and present a discussion with the Adam Smith Business School and Glasgow Chamber of Commerce panellists on the economic inheritance of the new government, published in Chapter 1 of their Summer 2024 UK Outlook.

Chaired by Professor Graeme Roy from the University of Glasgow, this session will begin with a presentation surrounding NIESR’s economic policy recommendations, delivered by NIESR’s Deputy Director Stephen Millard, who will later be joined by Dr Tanya Wilson and Dr Benjamin Caswell for a panel discussion to discuss findings.

This event will take place in the MBA Suite (Room 699), located on the 6th floor of the Adam Smith Building of the University of Glasgow.

Refreshments will be available from 8.30am, ahead of the event.
