"I completed my MSc from UofG in 2019. After graduating I worked as a training associate for a London based company. During the COVID-19 pandemic I started working remotely and delivering training all over the world virtually. I'm advanced trainer in project management, business and marketing. Since graduating, I have established myself as global training consultant and worked with many multinationals across the globe. I have built a training company, Master Trainers, which uses artificial intelligence to create training plans and employee assessments in seconds. We are now expanding in Dubai market. Sky is the limit."

Why did you choose the Adam Smith Business School?

It’s one of the top business schools in UK. Glasgow is full of diversity, people with different backgrounds and the network you build in Glasgow is unmatched.

What did you enjoy the most about your programme? How has your degree helped you in your career?

I enjoyed the practical element of the courses and participating in the graduate award. Especially the ILM certification which helped me develop my coaching skills and has supported me professionally.

What have you been up to since graduating from the Business School?

I established a training company, and we are using technology to solve training and upskilling related problems. 5 years in training industry and establishing my own business from scratch was something I always wanted to do.

What was the most important thing you learnt while studying at Glasgow?

Entrepreneurship, do your own work and learn how to make it work. Problem solving and communication skills. I had some technical courses like financial management and people development which enabled me to advance my journey in business.

What is your top piece of advice for current students – our future alumni?

Focus on networking and talk to as many people as you can. Attend events and explore what people are doing in other programs. Expand your thinking by meeting new people. People make Glasgow.

Tell us about your fondest memory at the Business School.

Best part was attending all graduate award activities as you meet people from different programs. However, my fondest memory was from my residency. I look back fondly on my time meeting all my friends and sharing knowledge with each other, it was great experience. Living on campus was something I cherish the most.
