Shanghai Lifelong Learning Alumni Panel
The Adam Smith Business School was delighted to host an exciting alumni panel on Lifelong Learning and Learning Organisations, at Deloitte Shanghai on 24 June 2023.
Chaired by Professor John Finch, Head of School, the panel explored the benefits of lifelong learning for individual career development as well as organisational growth, with a specific emphasis on the latter. Industry leaders provided in-depth discussions and valuable insights: Mr Lawrence Jin (Partner of Deloitte China and Honorary Professor at Adam Smith Business School), Ms Liu Xun (VP of Sequoia Capital China) and Dr Zhaofeng Zhou (Managing Partner of Fieldfisher China).
Following the panel, Dr Xiang Li, Associate Director of Internationalisation and Associate in Practice of Lifelong Learning at the Adam Smith Business School, chaired an open discussion segment. Over 50 senior alumni based in Shanghai who attended the event joined in the discussion, stimulating fascinating dialogue. The event created a dynamic networking environment and fostered connections among influential professionals in various industries, and was considered a great success by all.
