Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Participatory Nexus Mapping in Oxford
The Environmental Change Institute's Food Systems Programme is contributing to the University of Oxford's broad view of food systems by increasing understanding of the two-way interactions between food security and environmental change.
We are seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Assistant to join the WEFWEBS (Water-Energy-Food nexus) project for a 1-year period. WEFWEBS is a collaborative multidisciplinary project involving seven UK universities. It aims to address the challenges of identifying and understanding the dynamic, interlinked inter-dependencies across nexus networks which are physical (water, waste, energy and food), social and political (individual, regulatory and policy), ecological and digital at multiple, nested scales (local, regional and national) and temporally.

This is a fixed-term full-time post for 12 months, although part-time working over a longer period could also be considered.
