WEFWEBs

In April of this year, Xiaoyu Yan and the team at University of Exeter appointed Research Associate Gloria Salmoral Portillo, who will work on the WEFWEBs project for 16 months. Gloria has worked in several projects (e.g., ‘2035 Ecuador sustainability scenarios’, ‘Water and Food Security in Spain and Latin America’, ‘Extensions Analysis of the Water Footprint and the Virtual Water Trade’) in relation to integrated water management, with a special focus on agricultural production and land use change effects. She has an interdisciplinary environmental background in irrigation water management, ecohydrological modelling, agricultural policy and land use change studies.
