Wolfson Medical School Building scoops another award

University's new building recognised for "improving and promoting the economy and environment of Scotland".
Bob Wilson, Director of Estates & Buildings, had the unexpected pleasure of collecting an award last night (Tuesday 25 November), at the Scottish Enterprise 'Dynamic Place Awards 2003' presentation dinner.
The awards are described as "..an important catalyst in improving and promoting the economy and environment of Scotland." and are seen as an organisation's contribution towards a smart, successful Scotland.
Bob was delighted to accept the award for the Wolfson Medical School, in the Buildings and Construction projects field. It was one of only four awards from a shortlist of 15 projects.
The Dumbarton Road Gatehouse (the Maggie's Centre) also received a high commendation.
