New processes for attendance and engagement monitoring

From 13th January 2025 two new student-led digital processes will be implemented to facilitate attendance monitoring for our UKVI students. This will involve minimal input from academic colleagues in teaching events

The key change is that UKVI students must record their engagement, digitally, throughout the year.  This will be done in two different ways. 

  • UG and PGT (teaching) students: download and check-in using the SafeZone app during classes.
  • PGR (and PGT dissertation/project) students: submit new UofG Helpdesk Engagement Form.
