Allies are incredibly important in helping to achieve LGBT equality and ensuring that the University of Glasgow is fully inclusive so that everyone can be themselves, without exception.
Lived experiences
This session will look at the lived experiences of LGBT people in Scotland today and help you to identify some practical ways for you to demonstrate your support for LGBT equality in your individual roles, as well as your team, your School/College/Research Institute/Service and the wider University.
At the end of the session you will be asked to sign an LGBT Ally Pledge designed by the LGBT+ Network, you will then receive a University of Glasgow Rainbow Pin Badge to identify you as an LGBT Ally. A light sandwich buffet lunch will be provided.
Numbers for the session are restricted. Book your place now.
A further LGBT Allies session is already planned for February 2019 to coincide with LGBT History Month. Details for that session will be made available closer to the time.
