Refurbishment work at the Joseph Black Building is progressing well.

JBB exteriorThe University and its construction partner, Robertson Construction, can provide the following updates:

 

  • 187 windows installed as of May 25;
  • The sample elevation scaffolding looking on to Science Way (Elevation W) came down on May 18;
  • The Serena Corr Lab has been completed and good progress is being made on the Raphael and Henderson labs;
  • C3.05 Lecture Theatre has been handed back early ready for the start of the new term;
  • Work on the insectaries has been completed;
  • Window Refurbishments in the Library are almost complete;
  • Concrete repairs are almost complete along from elevation X to AB
