Hello UofG app launched

A new app aims to help international students applying to study at the University of Glasgow.
A University of Glasgow graduate has developed an app which helps prospective international students to connect with current students, find their ideal course, search for scholarships and much more.
The HelloUofG app was created by Dr Ying (Olivia) Feng. Olivia studied as an undergraduate and postgraduate at the University of Glasgow Adam Smith Business School and graduated with a PhD in 2014.
Shortly before her graduation, she was awarded an Enterprise Fellowship from the Royal Society of Edinburgh. During her fellowship, she started ICAN Future Star ltd, a mobile technology company based in Edinburgh.
Olivia had a vision is to use technology to make applying to study abroad easier and more efficient; the HelloUni app was born.
The app is being piloted at the University of Glasgow.
