The ICAS Foundation, a charity registered in Scotland, was established to support academically talented young people by helping them overcome particular financial barriers which would otherwise deter them from studying accountancy or a finance related degree.

The Foundation will offer up to five bursaries to students commencing undergraduate degrees in qualifying subjects at the University of Glasgow in the 2016-2017 academic session.

The value of the bursaries will range from £1,000 to £2,500 per annum, dependent on household income. The bursaries will normally be made available for the duration of a student's undergraduate degree.

The ICAS Foundation scheme includes mentor support and the possibility of a paid internship at the end of year 3.

Eligibility

The bursaries will be open to applicants resident in Scotland who are accepted on to an undergraduate course at the University of Glasgow in Accountancy or Finance.

Students must, while demonstrating ability and potential to complete an undergraduate degree, have financial or personal circumstances that might otherwise inhibit that progression.
Please check that you are eligible before applying.
