University Rector, Charles Kennedy, attended the Nursery’s graduation ceremony 28 May as some of the children move on to attend primary school in August.
Nursery Manager, Caroline McVeigh, and everyone at Childcare Scotland, would like to wish the 22 graduates, many of whom have been attending the Nursery since they were babies, very good luck in the big move – they will all be missed by the staff.
Glasgow University Nursery is based on Hillhead Street and has over 80 children who attend; their parents are either staff of the University or study here.
Following in the footsteps of their proud parents, the children were presented with graduation scrolls by the Rt. Hon Charles Kennedy.
Hopefully these are the first steps in their journey into the world where they will fulfill their dreams of becoming, amongst other things, a train driver, a policeman, a doctor, or spiderman.
Congratulations to all the children for graduating and to all the staff who helped them along their way.
