Arts Library Associates Scheme: The Library from a Student Perspective
Published: 12 March 2025
The Arts Library Associates scheme was established in 2024 to bring together students in the College of Arts & Humanities and UofG Library staff.
In 2024, we established an exciting new collaborative scheme to bring UofG Library staff together with students in the College of Arts & Humanities- the Arts Library Associates scheme.
Associates have the opportunity to go behind the scenes, learn about how the Library works and help shape Library decision making. They can also complete a project focusing on an area of the Library that they are interested in.
The Semester 1 Associates for 2024/25 have now completed their projects. The results are fantastic and will really help other students find out more about using the Library. The projects cover a range of topics and formats including posters, blog posts and a video.
Find out more about the projects on the University of Glasgow Library Blog.
Arts & Humanities students - get involved!
Invitations to get involved in the scheme are sent out by the College of Arts & Humanities. The next group will start in Semester 1 2025/26, so look out for more information later this year if you are interested in taking part.
