Founded in 1981, the role of The Scottish Theatre Archive is to help preserve and promote interest in Scotland's theatrical heritage. It forms part of the Special Collections Department of the University of Glasgow Library. The Archive is open to anyone with an interest in Scottish theatre. There are also strong links with Theatre Studies at the University of Glasgow.
