Congratulations to Bat Viruses: Behind the Scenes on being selected as the project to be made into an exhibit at Glasgow Science Centre!

Amplify is an exciting opportunity for researchers to design their own exhibit! Shortlisted researchers are working with Glasgow Science Centre’s Experience Design Team to create an exhibit to engage the public in an interactive and immersive way.

Five projects were selected from an open call looking for interesting ideas about creating experiences about research. These researchers from across University of Glasgow’s College of Medicine, Veterinary and Life Sciences (MVLS) then worked with experts in experience design at Glasgow Science Centre to turn an idea into a full design for a unique, research-based experience.

In Spring 2023, we held a judging event, showcasing the five designs, where one was selected to be created and put on display. Each project not selected has a full design brief that can be used in future funding applications.

WINNER Bat Viruses: Behind the Scenes
