The School of Psychology & Neuroscience at the University of Glasgow is expanding its academic programmes in cognitive/behavioural neuroscience and psychology. We seek to make the following appointments on the Research & Teaching (R&T) track ranging from Grade 7-9 (Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in the UK; assistant/associate professor in the US) to Grade 10 (full Professor). Post-holders will develop their own research programmes and assist with development and/or enhancement of our teaching programmes in cognitive and behavioural neuroscience.
THREE tenured research positions are available in cognitive neuroscience/psychology. The term is broadly defined, but implies the use of brain investigative methods, for which we have a particularly supportive research environment. Our research in this area is internationally recognized, and facilities include 3T MRI/fMRI (for humans), 7T MRI/fMRI (for humans or animals), 7T MRI/fMRI (preclinical and clinical human studies), MEG, TMS and animal/human PET imaging.
