Anji Sandhu: Championing Workplace Equality and Women’s Health Awareness

Anji Sandhu, a trailblasing advocate for workplace equality, is transforming lives with her PCOS Workplace Pledge, revolutionary app, and nationwide campaigns, earning her acclaim as a true changemaker.
Anji Sandhu, a 2021 LLM graduate from Glasgow University, has been recognised for her respectful and impactful work in advocating for workplace equality and raising awareness of PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome). Named the ‘Woman to Watch’ by Scottish Women in Business (SWIB), Anji has dedicated herself to creating inclusive work environments that provide support for individuals affected by PCOS. In November 2024, she launched the PCOS Workplace Pledge, an initiative designed to promote understanding and offer accommodations for employees living with the condition.
In addition to her efforts in the workplace, Anji is preparing to launch the PCOS Buddy App in 2025. This app, praised by the Scottish Institute for Enterprise as “revolutionary,” will offer essential resources and guidance to those navigating life with PCOS, providing them with a sense of community and support.
Anji’s commitment to raising awareness extends beyond the workplace, with a national PCOS awareness campaign planned for UK universities in 2024/25. Through this initiative, she seeks to educate and empower students, helping to reduce stigma and foster understanding of the condition.
Anji’s unwavering dedication to improving women’s health and promoting workplace equality has earned her numerous accolades, including a nomination for the World Changing Alumni Award, recognition as one of Scotland’s 100 Female Entrepreneurs to Watch, and a nomination for WeAreTheCity Rising Stars. Through her respectful and thoughtful advocacy, Anji is making a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by PCOS and advancing equality in the workplace.
