Study Abroad/Exchange admissions policy
We are unable to guarantee an offer of accommodation to all Study Abroad/Exchange students. However, we will use best endeavours to offer you accommodation providing:
- You are new to study at the University of Glasgow and do not require family/partner accommodation; and
- Your online accommodation application is received by 14 July (Semester 1) or 30 November (Semester 2); and
- You have met your conditions of entry and have an unconditional offer by 25 August (Semester 1) or 30 November (Semester 2) in the academic year of entry to University.
Applications submitted after 14 July will still be considered but you are encouraged to apply as early as you can. Your home institution’s Study Abroad/Exchange office can offer more information and advice
Family / Partner accommodation
The University has only a limited number of flats available to students with families or partners. As a consequence, they are in high demand and cannot be guaranteed to those requesting them. Family accommodation will be allocated on a first come, first served basis for applicants meeting the above criteria. We can supply links to local letting agents to assist in your search in the private sector. The Students Representative Council's Advice Centre (SRC) can offer guidance for searching in the private sector.
NB- Erasmus Mundus applicants should refer to the Postgraduate Admissions Policy
