For applicants applying to Undergraduate study in Academic Year 2024/25 from Further Education
Wherever possible, no student currently completing HN, SWAP or other Access study in a Scottish FE College will be denied entry to an Undergraduate programme for which they have been accepted on grounds of missing marks due to industrial action, where existing marks indicate the student is likely to meet the terms of an offer. The University of Glasgow will use this principle when making decisions about individual circumstances on a case-by-case basis.
There are a number of ways that you can meet our entry requirements if you don’t have grades or certificates:
- A pass in 3 University of Glasgow Summer School modules – Admissions will receive these results directly from our Summer School, you don’t need to share these with us
- A pass in all University of Glasgow HNC+ Articulation Modules - Admissions will receive these results directly from our FE Transitions Officer, you don’t need to share these with us
- A pass in the University of Glasgow Summer School online Academic Skills module + one relevant Higher at Grade A + transcript of HN study to date
- Evidence of any previous study that meets our adjusted entry requirements – please share these with Admissions using your Applicant Self Service Portal
- Completion of Studies letter from your College – please share these with Admissions using your Applicant Self Service Portal
- Screenshot of your results (which includes your name and date of birth) - please share these with Admissions using your Applicant Self Service Portal
