Research interests
I support musical applications of ICT in the School of Culture and Creative Arts, manage lab spaces that support learning & teaching in Music and Film & TV and contribute to teaching in Culture and Creative Arts.
Office Hours: Thursdays 11am - 12noon
Teaching
I contribute to teaching and assessment on Sonic Arts: Interacting with Sound Music in the School of Culture and Creative Arts.
Additional information
I provide technical and data management support to researchers in the College of Arts.
External to the University, I have served as Festival Director for Girvan Traditional Folk Festival SCIO since 2021. The Festival now in its 50th year is one of Scotland's longest-established celebrations of traditional music & song. I have performed with, National Theatre of Scotland, acclaimed singer/songwriter Alasdair Roberts, Glasgow-based trad band Askolenn and in numerous other groups. I have provided music production and technical consultancy for a variety of clients including Scottish Opera, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Glasgow University Chapel Choir, Celtic Connections and many others.
