Biography

I work with researchers across the University to facilitate open research, supporting compliance with research funder open access and data sharing requirements. I am also responsible for the administration of research outcomes reporting to funders to demonstrate compliance with these requirements.

My responsibilities include dealing with enquiries about open access from across the University. I advise staff and students on the actions required to comply with Research Funder and Research Excellence Framework open access requirements. Such as providing advice on licensing and versioning research outputs. I produce reports, perform quality checks, and provide data entry and cleansing on information for the University's Enlighten institutional repositories. I raise and promote awareness of open access requirements including reviewing and updating web pages, arranging, and participating in events, delivering presentations at University committees and meetings, and preparing materials to ensure that researchers understand how they can comply with all open access requirements.
