2011 - 2018 – Author of the bid for Erasmus Mundus recognition of the International Master Russian, Central and East European Studies double degree programme. Award: €4.7 million
2012 to 2016 – Co-author (with Professor Richard Berry) of 2 bids to the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) to fund the Centre for Russian, Central and East European Studies (CRCEES). Awards: £600,000.
2001 - 2003 - Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) award 'Poland's Third Transition: Beyond 2001 (R/000/22/365) with Professor William L Miller, Professor Radoslaw Markowski and Professor Jacek Wasilewski.
