Sociology & Criminology
At the University of Glasgow, we are internationally-recognised for our sociological research. We contribute to academic debates and help to shape public policy in a range of areas. With around 70 postgraduate students, we have a large and diverse postgraduate community. Read some student testimonials.
We offer Masters programmes in sociology, criminology, and equalities and human rights. In collaboration with others across the University, we offer interdisciplinary degrees examining social and political dimensions of our increasingly globalised world, or taking an historical perspective on social development.
