Biography

Dr Tunbosun Oyedokun is a Lecturer in Real Estate in the Department of Urban Studies, School of Social and Political Sciences. He obtained his PhD from the Urban Institute, Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, as a recipient of the prestigious James Watt Scholarship.

His doctoral research focused on sustainability and its influence on the commercial real estate market in the UK. More broadly, his research interests include property valuation practice and methodologies; public policy and real property development process; urban real estate market dynamics; health and well-being impact of commercial offices; and decision-making processes of real estate market actors.

Holder of PgCert in Academic Practice, an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, a University of Glasgow RET Fellow, a member of the European Real Estate Society. Tunbosun teaches Real Estate Markets, Development Economics and Development Appraisal modules to students on a range of postgraduate real estate and planning programmes.

  • occupancy and investment performance of commercial property assets;
  • health and well-being impact of commercial offices; and
