Biography
Leo Steeds is Research Associate on the Adam Smith 300 project, and is based in Politics and International Relations at the University of Glasgow. He holds a PhD in Politics and International Studies from the University of Warwick, an MA in International Political Economy from the University of Warwick, and a BA Hons in Music from the University of Oxford.
His research centres around environmental ideas in the history of political and economic thought, and is particularly focused on the work of Adam Smith. Alongside this, he maintains an active interest in contemporary environmental politics, especially the concept of the Anthropocene, and the increasing prominence of economic concepts in environmental governance.
He is an Associate Editor of the Adam Smith Review.
