Biography

I was recently awarded my doctorate from the University of Glasgow (2019). My thesis qualitatively explored the contradictions of reproductive choice in the context of neoliberalism and postfeminism. Prior to my PhD, in 2014 I completed an MRes in Sociology and Research Methods (with Distinction) and in 2013 completed an MA (Hons) in Sociology (First Class), both at the University of Glasgow. During my time at the university I have worked as a graduate teaching assistant and lecturer, and have held research roles in sexual and reproductive health.
