Biography

I joined the School of Social and Political Sciences in January 2019. Prior to coming to Glasgow, I worked at the University of the West of Scotland. I was awarded my PhD from the University of Glasgow in 2018.

My disciplinary research takes a social reproduction approach to the Scottish state before and after devolution, the contemporary feminist and Marxist left and LGBTQ liberation in later 20th century Scotland. I also undertake pedagogical research where my interests relate to the marketisation of higher education, academic literacies and inequalities impacting the classroom
