The financial support of the British Association for Slavonic and East European Studies, the Centre for Russian, Central and East European Studies and the Journal of Communist Studies and Transition Politics has allowed Stephen White in association with David Lane of Cambridge University to organize a two-part workshop on ‘Coloured Revolutions Reconsidered’. The first part will take place in Cambridge, the second part in Glasgow immediately afterwards, on 4 and 5 April 2008, with Glasgow-based as well as outside scholars. It is intended that at least a substantial proportion of the papers will be published subsequently in the Journal of Communist Studies and Transition Politics.
