We're delighted and very proud to have performed so well in the recent Guardian Best UK University and Complete University Guide UK 2024 league tables in our four represented subjects! 

In the Guardian Best UK Universities 2024, the league table ranks institutions by subject, looking at student satisfaction, staff numbers, spending and career prospects. International Relations is a new subject ranking for 2024 and we're delighted to have been ranked 2nd in the UK. Politics has risen four places from last year to 5th place and Sociology has been ranked 7th in the UK, up three places from last year. 

In the Complete University Guide UK, Sociology has risen three places to 4th in the UK, Social Policy has been ranked at No.11, up two places from 2023, and Politics/International Relations has risen three places to 14th in the UK. 

Both league tables have a different methodology for ranking, hence the differences, but we're so pleased to see the positive upward trend of our represented subjects.
